Robert, this morning on his way out the door.

3. What's your favorite dinner?
Homemade chicken Parmesan

In the store= diet sodas and a new floor mop

Crisp fall weather, with a breeze blowing and low low humidity.

Summer. Georgia heat and humidity...need I say more?

Take Robert to Europe, jump the EuroRail and let it take us wherever we want to go.

Goings On....

Our lives have been very busy as of late! Robert's new job requires him to work long hours three nights a week for band practices and football games and I've started teaching a Sunday school class for 3rd and 4th graders this year, which has added to my already long do-to list. Also, we were devastated last week when Robert's dad passed away from stroke complications on Sept 8th, 2009. Robert traveled around the state, from Waycross and back and then all three of us went up to Ringgold, GA for the funeral. Everyone at both of our jobs were so kind and understanding and gave both of us most of the week off. We've appreciated all the prayers and phone calls...but don't stop there! Please keep praying for our family, especially for Robert, his mom and brother Russell during this difficult time.

While in Ringgold, we took Nicklas to the new kids' park to play and blow off some steam. He really had alot of fun swinging, climbing and sliding down his first slide. The photo above is the inside of a large toy train...my buddy loves trains!

I'll do it myself, Daddy!

Can I slide again? Again!

The beautiful view of Robert's dad's burial site at the Chattanooga Nat'l Cemetary in Tennessee.

Today, we went to our friends the Renfro's house and met some other kids there to bake! We helped the kids mix and stir the batter and made a ton of cookies. Everybody had so much fun and N was tuckered out by the time we got home. He was actually snoring in his carseat!

Rocking on SC's caterpillar.

SC waiting patiently for her turn. She was so sweet!

Nicklas playing with the Renfro's dachshund

Lydia adding in her ingredients.

Owen stirring the batter (and trying the lick the spatula when no one was looking).

One very sleepy boy!
